In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base in the region, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will promote BD's Specimen Management and BDX solutions to NHS Pathology, Clinical, and Procurement functions within your designated territory. You will leverage your expertise in the IVD Diagnostics industry to build relationships with key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of products and solutions, including Focus products aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a multi-year Territory plan to drive competitor share gain and current account expansion, maintenance and retention.
- Maintain and establish relationships with key collaborators in NHS Pathology, Clinical and Procurement functions to support long term sustained sales growth and execution of the business strategy.
- Promote BD SM and BDX on the Territory and act as BD Brand Ambassador.
- Act as a trusted partner to customers and their Champion within BD.
- Help customers maintain a productive and beneficial relationship with BD and assist in resolving issues they may have.
- Engage internal business support functions in supporting the customer as required.
- Identify BD cross functional resources needed to complete the Territory plan.
- Collaborate with internal collaborators to establish virtual teams to support these initiatives.
About you:
- Consistent track record of territory management and forming positive relationships with key partners within NHS Pathology & Clinical Services.
- Must be willing to travel in the field 80% of the time and continuously improve selling time!
- Experience of Pre-Sales, Tendering, Contracting and Implementing with NHS Pathology Services for Solutions, Consumables and Managed Service Contracts.
- Understanding of the NHS purchasing process and healthcare system procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions of contract.
- Ability to lead & complete multiple opportunities of varied complexity simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation skills with strong financial competence and negotiation skills.
Salary range for the role: Β£42,000 - Β£56,000 + bonus + benefits.
