BD is hiring for the exciting opportunity of Marketing Manager Women’s Health! As a Marketing Manager for Women’s Health at BD, your days will be filled with strategic planning, collaboration, and driving impactful initiatives. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies that position BD as a trusted partner in minimally invasive breast biopsy practices across the European Union. This role offers location flexibility across Europe.
The Marketing Manager Women’s Health is accountable for accelerating growth, adoption, and customer engagement for BD’s Women’s Health Solutions across the European Union. This role drives regional marketing planning execution, commercial readiness, and field enablement, ensuring BD is positioned as the trusted partner supporting best‑in‑class minimally invasive breast biopsy practices.
Working in a matrix environment, the Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Product Managers, Sales, European Marketing Team, Medical Affairs, Professional Education, Market Access, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Global Marketing to deliver impactful programs, strengthen customer loyalty, and achieve business targets.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Co‑develop and implement the regional marketing strategy for Women’s Health, marketing plan and ASR projection, aligned with BD’s business priorities and growth ambitions.
- Collaborate with Platforms to identify and implement holistic solutions that meet customer expectations and strategic goals.
- Drive portfolio performance through a strong understanding of clinical pathways, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Support the implementation of the European product portfolio strategies including value proposition, positioning, product promotion, pricing and portfolio lifecycle management.
- In conjunction with the country’s marketing teams, develop market‑specific strategies and tactics for our customer offerings to ensure that BD PI is well positioned for success.
- Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in terms of quantitative data (e.g. market data, market trends, competitor offering) and qualitative data (e.g. customer needs, technologies and applications).
- Develop and implement new product launch campaigns, aligning with market‑specific strategies and coordinating launch activities with all relevant stakeholders.
- Support the Sales team with product information as the main Subject Matter Expert and contribute to product training initiatives on a regular basis.
- Develop promotional material/marketing collateral and tools which will deliver key messages, positioning and reflect brand essence.
- Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence database for your portfolio.
- Identify, evaluate and develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) plan and network in conjunction with Clinical & Medical functions.
- Develop and support market research activities (Voice of Customer) and Post Market Surveillance studies.
- Conduct regular customer visits to develop deep understanding of the key market requirements / customer unmet needs.
- Support the evaluation and prioritization of Interfacing and Integration requirements in different markets and support the engagement with 3rd parties to plan and enable collaborations.
- Ensures budgets and schedules meet business requirements.
About You:
Education: MBA or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Market development, Life Sciences or related field required.
Experience: 5–8+ years of marketing experience & business development with consistent track record in portfolio marketing, go-to-market, and commercialization in the medical device sector.
Travel: 35%
