The B2B Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities with medical device suppliers across the UK, contributing to BD UK Limited's strategic growth and market expansion. This is a field-based role covering a national territory.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Proactively identify and research potential medical device supplier partners within the UK market, to understand their supply chain routes and quantify their forecasting and demand processes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to initiate contact with key decision-makers at target companies, including face-to-face visits, email campaigns, and networking.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored value propositions demonstrating how BD UK Limited's solutions can benefit potential partners.
- Negotiate and close new business agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and sustainable long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure a seamless transition of new accounts and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and meticulously track all sales activities and progress in the SFDC system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the medical device supplier landscape.
- Represent BD UK Limited at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, forecasting/demand planning, market insights and strategic recommendations for senior management.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B business development or sales, with a strong preference for experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully securing new business partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Strong understanding of the medical device supply chain and regulatory environment in the UK.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to travel frequently within the UK as required to meet with potential clients.
Salary range for the role: £45,000 - £50,000+ bonus + benefits.
