The job
You'll be delivering installation, maintenance and repair work across tenanted, commercial and void properties, travelling throughout the borough.
Fuses, lighting and wiring, inspecting and testing, fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and calibration work, plus general repairs and refurbishment alongside other trades.
Emergency lighting systems are a significant part of the work.
First-time fix is the aim on every job.
You'll document your repairs and service information, keep on top of your supplies and parts, and deal directly with clients, suppliers, other trades and the wider repairs and maintenance team.
It's busy and it varies day to day, and you'll be working with experienced people across a range of trades.
What you'll need NVQ Level 3 or above 18th Edition A proven record of quality electrical work that meets client expectations while keeping output efficient The ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics and diagrams Working knowledge of electrical theory and the associated principles, materials and equipment Confident with the hand and power tools associated with electrical work A good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and procedures Someone who can use their initiative and work independently Full clean UK driving licence
2391 test and inspect is desirable rather than essential.
