What we are looking for:
- Reliable individuals to deliver high-quality, client-focused cleaning services.
- Follow site-specific schedules, safely handle cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety standards, and occasionally carry out deep or specialist cleans.
- This entry-level role is ideal for those new to the industry and eager to learn and grow over time.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver high-quality, client-focused cleaning services across multiple sites.
- Follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules tailored to each location (dusting, wiping, and sanitising hard surfaces and other high-touch areas).
- Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations.
- Occasionally perform deep cleans or specialised responsive cleaning tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different environments.
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices (COSHH knowledge a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Use your initiative to solve routine issues if/when they arise while adopting safe working practices.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a professional cleaning services environment is beneficial but not a must.
- Willingness to work towards a Health and Safety Level 2 qualification and understand the principles relating to COSHH and cross-contamination in a cleaning context.
- An enhanced DBS check may be required for this role due to client requirements.
Working Arrangements:
- Permanent, part-time (role available range from 3 hours per week - 10 hours per week, depending on the site and contract).
- Morning shifts - Monday to Friday.
- Location: Designated sites in Barking / Dagenham / Newham.
