Responsibilities include:
- Strategic & P&L Leadership
- Setting and delivering a 5‑year commercial and business development strategy aligned to Group objectives.
- Stabilising financial performance while driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost efficiency.
- Leading portfolio and customer profitability analysis to optimise service mix and pricing.
- Establishing clear KPIs and performance rhythms across win rates, renewals, gross margin, WIP, variation capture, and commercial risk.
- Commercial Transformation
- Designing and leading the organisation’s commercial transformation strategy.
- Embedding new commercial models, processes, and capabilities across the business.
- Driving cross‑functional change and ensuring disciplined execution of commercial priorities.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and partners to secure buy‑in and long‑term momentum.
- Pricing & Revenue Management
- Setting the long‑range commercial vision for service lines and revenue models.
- Championing a data‑driven commercial culture using forecasting, insight, and scenario modelling.
- Owning pricing strategy, rate cards, cost models, and margin guardrails.
- Strengthening controls around variations, out‑of‑scope works, supplier management, and change orders.
- Contracting, Partnerships & Commercial Governance
- Strong financial acumen across P&L, cash flow, WIP, accruals, and revenue recognition.
- Experience shaping commercial operating models and digital enablement.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Experience leading complex transformation programmes with robust governance.
- Strong understanding of public‑sector procurement and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in commercial contract drafting and in‑life contract management.
- Leadership, Culture & Continuous Improvement
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary commercial teams.
- Ability to embed commercial discipline, continuous improvement, and benefits realisation.
- Data‑led decision‑maker with a focus on pace, clarity, and measurable outcomes.
