BD Group is hiring part‑time Cleaners to join our professional cleaning team. Whether you’re looking to gain experience or seeking flexible part‑time work, this entry‑level role offers a great introduction to the cleaning industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, client‑focused cleaning services across multiple sites.
- Follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules tailored to each location, including dusting, wiping, and sanitising hard surfaces and other high‑touch areas.
- Safely handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH and health & safety regulations.
- Occasionally perform deep cleans or specialised responsive cleaning tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different environments.
- Basic understanding of health & safety practices (COSHH knowledge a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative to solve routine issues and adopt safe working practices.
- Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders.
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to work towards a Health and Safety Level 2 qualification and understand COSHH and cross‑contamination principles in a cleaning context.

Working Arrangements
- Permanent, part‑time (3–10 hours per week depending on site and contract).
- Morning shifts – Monday to Friday.
- Location: Designated sites in Barking, Dagenham, and Newham.
