Job Description
The aim of the Training Advisor role is to support learners in achieving their full potential by delivering high-quality teaching and learning and guiding them through tailored training programmes and curriculum that aligns with their individual goals and career aspirations. The Training Advisor will foster an engaging and positive learning environment, remove barriers to success, and help learners build the skills and confidence needed to excel.
Additionally, this role ensures that training delivery meets organisational and industry standards as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
Main Duties
To carry out actions that directly improve the Learners experience;
- Build positive relationships with learners to develop trust and rapport, creating a supportive and motivating atmosphere and environment where learners feel valued, included and safe.
- To deliver teaching, learning, and assessment to all learners supporting them through their programme including the delivery and upskilling of functional skills via various delivery methods
- Develop learner’s knowledge, skills and behaviours required for their programme
- To manage a caseload of learners, delivering on the job learning and working independently to prepare and assess learners on a regular basis. (Caseload Fulltime 35-40 learners pro rata)
- To ensure learners adequately progress through their programme, enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- To safeguard learners and encourage their personal growth and understanding of personal safety, Prevent Duty and British Values.
- Support the development of high-quality programmes and curriculum that is sector specific
- Support the Quality and Curriculum Manager with quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance and quality with awarding organisation standards, OFSTED requirements and funding organisations.
- Support the Quality and Curriculum Manager to carry out quality activities which will include observations of teaching, learning and assessment, learner interviews and employer interviews.
Qualifications
- You must hold the relevant D32 / D33, A1, TAQA or equivalent qualification
- L3 Qualification in Health & Social Care
- IQA Qualification
- Experience of working in the Health & Social Care Sector
