Trainee Bodyshop Prepper/Painter to join our growing team. As a family-run organisation, our client prides itself on supporting new talent and providing long-term career opportunities within the automotive industry. This is a modern, well-established automotive repair centre delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in the bodyshop industry - whether you have recently left education, completed a college course, and ideally gained some amount of hands-on experience, and you want to build your skills in a professional environment.
What we offer:
- Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am-4:30 pm, No Weekends

Skills, qualities and experience:
- Some experience in vehicle repair, painting within the automotive industry
- Some practical experience or training (college, hobby work, or work placement)
- Experience in preparing or painting alloy wheels would be an advantage
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Reliable with good time keeping. Keen to become a Qualified Automotive Painter in the future
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy workshop
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid driving licence preferred
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced painters/preppers with preparation and painting tasks
- Learn to complete repairs to company quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Deliver professional and courteous service
- Support team objectives and daily workshop activities
- Carry out other duties as required while developing your skills
