Our client based near to Forest Row, East Sussex are looking for a permanent, part time bookkeeper. The hours are 9am until 1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but there could be some flexibility on this.
The salary is £13.50 to £15.60 per hour depending on experience. Would suit a person able to drive due to the location and free parking is available.
The role would be working with the accounting package Xero, including:
- Posting sales invoices and allocating payments
- Producing a debtors report, referring for reasons unpaid and debt chasing
- Bank reconciliation
- Managing and paying suppliers as they fall due
- Weekly takings report
- Balancing and monitoring Till, petty cash and fuel box
- Reconciling credit card invoices and recharges
- Collating information for staff payroll
- Maintaining spreadsheets and cash flow
- Producing invoices and recharging across other companies
The ideal candidate would have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills and have previous experience gained from a financial background.
