Our engineering client based in Horsham are looking for a Manufacturing Manager/Workshop Manager to join their successful business. Experience in the aviation sector would be advantageous.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-17.00, Fridays 08.30-16.15.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.

The duties are as follows:

  • Supervise, manage, and motivate staff within the operation of the workshop to achieve quality results
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Support Manager with project work and ad hoc tasks as requested
  • Workshop issues/concerns
  • Job assessing and planning
  • Support and manage the electrical workshop and liaise with the supervisor
  • Support and manage the mechanical workshop
  • Support and manage the purchasing Co-ordinator
  • Support and manage the final inspection
  • Support and manage the sales team: Looking for parts, advise if overhaul/repair is required
  • Problem solving
  • Assessing parts for Manufacturer/Repair/Overhaul
  • Facilitate external AS Quality Audits

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per year
