Our engineering client based in Horsham are looking for a Manufacturing Manager/Workshop Manager to join their successful business. Experience in the aviation sector would be advantageous.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-17.00, Fridays 08.30-16.15.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.
The duties are as follows:
- Supervise, manage, and motivate staff within the operation of the workshop to achieve quality results
- Planning and Scheduling
- Support Manager with project work and ad hoc tasks as requested
- Workshop issues/concerns
- Job assessing and planning
- Support and manage the electrical workshop and liaise with the supervisor
- Support and manage the mechanical workshop
- Support and manage the purchasing Co-ordinator
- Support and manage the final inspection
- Support and manage the sales team: Looking for parts, advise if overhaul/repair is required
- Problem solving
- Assessing parts for Manufacturer/Repair/Overhaul
- Facilitate external AS Quality Audits
