Client: Client is a specialist supplier of display and merchandising to global brands providing a more efficient supply model for POP that emphasises global consolidation and a highly efficient supply chain.
Main duties:
- You will be responsible for sourcing and buying the products from Far East and European suppliers. The role is in the European business division and reports to the Supply Manager.
- Sourcing, optimum scheduling, project management and deadline achievement on all supply and production projects is a key responsibility.
- Support the team by delivering reports on time, processing administrative paperwork e.g. invoices and delivery notes.
- Provide support for achieving agreed target margins and savings for the company.
Skills, Aptitudes & Experience Required:
- Purchasing experience in buying products from factories in Far East & Europe.
- Education to degree level and fluency in English and Chinese.
- An obsession for deadlines and accuracy in supply detail with organisational skills and a hands-on attitude to production quality and cost control.
- Demonstrable, accurate and impressive skills in supply software and processes.
- An understanding of our key manufacturing processes in metal, plastics, and print.
