The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Accounts Junior to join our friendly Finance team, supporting the Accounts function. This is a great opportunity for someone, maybe early in their career, or equally looking to move into finance, who wants to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. Someone with some Admin/Accounts exposure and a desire to learn. Maybe you have started your AAT or are keen to start? You don’t need to have everything figured out already - we are interested in your attitude, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm to get involved.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing and recording incoming payments accurately
- Creating and issuing invoices to customers
- Keeping customer accounts up to date and well organised
- Assisting with reconciling accounts and investigating any discrepancies
- Maintaining settlement logs and completing relevant checks
- Ensuring exchanges are processed in a timely manner
- Communicating with sites regarding payment queries and account updates
- Supporting improvements to invoicing and administrative processes
- Helping the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in administration, accounts, finance, or a similar role is helpful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
- Comfortable with data entry and basic systems
- Clear and friendly communication skills, especially over the phone
- A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team and manage your own workload
The Details
Full-time role: 9 am-5 pm, office-based (flexibility available upon request). Study Support towards AAT after probation period. This role will pay the minimum wage, and you can progress from there!
