Company client are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established and highly respected main dealer group based in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Technician to join a professional workshop environment, working for a leading automotive employer that offers a supportive team culture, excellent facilities, and opportunities for ongoing development.
The Role:
- As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work to manufacturer standards, ensuring all vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance work across a range of vehicles.
- Diagnosing faults using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Completing mechanical repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and company standards.
- Maintaining excellent levels of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Working collaboratively within a busy workshop team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician who has:
- Previous experience within a dealership, independent garage, or similar automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- The ability to work to high standards while meeting deadlines.
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
- Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
Package & Benefits:
- Basic salary: £33,500 - £36,500 depending on experience.
- Bonus opportunity: circa £4,000 per year.
- Monday to Friday working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm.
- Saturday rota: 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm.
