Job Description
Our well established engineering client is looking for an electronics test engineer to join their team based in Horsham.Monday to Friday – £28000 – £30000 per annum – Excellent company benefits.PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT AN IT TEST ENGINEER ROLE – this is more about using digital multi meters, oscillocope's, PCB testing, fault finding, reading electronic diagrams.Responsibilities/dutiesIntegrate, test, and provide comprehensive support for electronic products.· Undertake fault diagnosis and resolution, spanning from system-level down to component-level.· Design, implement, and enhance test systems and processes.· Recommend design changes to enhance product performance or address obsolescence, collaborating with in-house teams for implementation of practical Electronic skills.· ESD Process/Implementation· Documenting all processes within our quality accreditation.· To build Test Equipment and adaptors when required.· Use of test equipment Such as- digital multi-meter. oscilloscope.· signal generator. Power Supply Units.Other Test Equipment (Training Provided).· Use of Product Specific/Bespoke Test Equipment.· Ability to read electronic diagrams.· General & PCB testing & repair.· Basic fault finding.· Soldering.· Basic Metal work such as marking and drilling.· Ability to prototype designs for one off test sets.· Understanding of Calibration and result traceability.· Attention to detail.· Ability to learn and evolve.
