Company client is working on behalf of its customer who are looking for an Electrical Tester needed around Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct electrical testing and inspections in social housing properties to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards.
- Perform periodic testing, including EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports), and remedial works as necessary.
- Complete accurate and detailed reports following each test, noting any defects, non-compliances, or recommendations.
- Maintain and manage all testing equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and in good working order.
- Essential: Own van and testing equipment; 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification is a minimum requirement; Proven experience in electrical testing, particularly in domestic or social housing settings.
- Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent Electrical Testing and Inspection qualification.
The hourly rate on offer for this role is £26.00PH - paid weekly CIS.
