Role Overview:

As an Electrical QS (Qualified Supervisor), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical and operational aspects of electrical projects. You will be involved in supervising a range of electrical works across various sectors, ensuring compliance with NICEIC and relevant industry standards, and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise electrical installations, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the completion of projects across multiple sectors including domestic, social housing, commercial, and industrial.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure that electrical work meets quality standards and NICEIC requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all projects, reports, and certifications.
  • Carry out inspections and testing (2391) in line with industry standards.
  • Supervise and assess work on-site, ensuring the work meets regulatory and company standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • AM2 Qualification (or equivalent).
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent).
  • NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status or willingness to achieve it.
  • Prior experience in a Quantity Surveyor or similar role.
