Our Seafront Service manages and develops the coastline. We are looking for Catering Supervisors to join the Seafront Catering Team to oversee the day‑to‑day operation of two cafés.

  • Locations:
  • Pierview Kitchen Bournemouth – recently refurbished and positioned at Pier Approach Bournemouth, a vibrant destination for residents and visitors.
  • PierView Kitchen Boscombe – located near Boscombe Pier with an on‑site function room for private hire.

Role Overview:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervise staff and daily operations.
  • Support food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Create a welcoming, professional environment for customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities:

  • Review and improve the catering offer, preparing and implementing proposals to enhance service profits.
  • Suggest changes to working practices to maximise quality, efficiency, and continuity.
  • Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, rota planning, and activity prioritisation.
  • Implement and monitor stock control systems to minimise waste and excess cost.
  • Maintain and update health and safety standards.
