Starting salary for this role is £14.41ph+ DOE (pro rata for part-time colleagues).

We’re looking for a qualified and enthusiastic gymnastics coach to join our growing club. This role is ideal for someone who loves helping gymnasts progress, enjoys working as part of a supportive coaching team, and can deliver high‑quality sessions in a safe, positive environment.

What the role involves:

  • Planning and delivering structured gymnastics sessions for recreational and/or squad gymnasts, depending on qualification and experience.
  • Creating a fun, inclusive and motivating training atmosphere that supports gymnasts of all ages and abilities.
  • Assessing gymnast development and providing clear, constructive feedback.
  • Ensuring all activities follow British Gymnastics standards for safety, safeguarding and coaching practice.
  • Working collaboratively with other coaches to support club programmes, events and competitions.
  • Contributing to the wider club environment, including communication with parents and supporting club initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

  • British Gymnastics Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or working towards Level 3 for senior pathway roles).
  • Experience coaching children and young people in a club environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, encouraging coaching style.
  • Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to high coaching standards.
  • Up‑to‑date DBS and safeguarding.

Hours and contract:

We offer flexible hours, ranging from casual coaching sessions to regular contracted hours, depending on your availability and the needs of the club. Evening and weekend work may be required.
