Rockley Education is recruiting a part-time sport teacher for its sixth form team, working 0.5 of full time and starting on 2 January 2027 or as soon as possible after notice. The post centres on the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity, covering units from sports coaching and nutrition to team and individual sports. Learners are sixth formers, many heading to university or sport careers, including roles in superyachts and overseas. Fit depends on an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
What the job involves
- Contribute significantly to the sport programmes, especially the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Physical Activity
- Teach units such as Exercise, Health and Lifestyle, Practical Team Sports, Practical Individual Sports, Sports Nutrition, Sports Coaching, Current Issues in Sport and Sports Leadership
