We are looking for motivated, child‑focused staff to undertake high‑quality SGO and Kinship Care assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete SGO and Kinship Care assessments at pace.
  • Hold and manage a caseload of 4–5 assessments simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with the team manager, SGO assessment colleagues and the wider fostering service.
  • Travel for assessment visits; may need to stay overnight and hold business insurance.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified social worker with SWE registration.
  • Hold a diploma and/or degree in social work.
  • Highly organised with strong analytical assessment skills.
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight when required.
