KidZone Assistant – a role within BCP Council Seafront Operations for July and August 2026. Compensation: £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay per hour worked. New starters begin at the bottom of the pay band.
Responsibilities
- Protect families and ensure beach safety.
- Engage with the public and promote the missing‑persons scheme.
- Coordinate searches to reunite lost children and vulnerable people with their families.
- Work independently and as part of a wider team, including RNLI and other partner agencies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive seafront environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship available.
- Basic DBS check completed by BCP Council.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work shifts across 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Comfortable working outdoors for most of each shift.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused approach.
- Enthusiasm and confidence in maintaining a safe, inclusive public space.
