We are currently recruiting for a number of exciting Seafront roles here at BCP. The pay range for this role will be £27,694 (pro rata for part time colleagues). We’re looking forward to welcoming new colleagues under this refreshed framework of pay, terms, and conditions. To promote fairness and consistency, all new starters will begin at the lowest level of the pay band. About the Role
As a Stores Person you will be at the heart of the Seafront Catering operation, ensuring that over 20 kiosk locations in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch are always fully stocked and ready to serve customers. Most hours are worked during the summer months, making this a dynamic and varied role that is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move and working as part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing stock levels across all seafront catering units
- Ordering, receiving and checking deliveries, including temperature checks
- Delivering stock to kiosks to maintain daily service levels
- Ensuring food safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks and ensuring safe driving around public areas
- Supporting waste and recycling processes when required
- Handling customer queries in a friendly and professional manner
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a fast‑paced hospitality or catering environment
- Full, clean driving licence
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A flexible, proactive approach to work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
Working Pattern
- Annualised hours contract with peak activity during summer months
- Early mornings and flexible working required, including weekend and bank holidays
- Willingness to support other team members during busy periods
