The pay for this role will be £30,518 (pro rata for part time colleagues). We’re looking forward to welcoming new colleagues under this refreshed framework of pay, terms, and conditions. To promote fairness and consistency, all new starters will begin at the bottom of the pay band. What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Take and prepare orders – from fresh coffee to seaside treats.
- Operate tills and handle payments accurately.
- Keep our cafés sparkling clean and safe, following food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Support opening/closing routines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Place supplier orders to replenish stock.
- Manage staffing levels in the absence of the Catering supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible and reliable, with availability to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Previous experience in supervising staff preferred.
- Confidence in restocking counters and displays in line with stock rotation and management requirements, ensuring items are well‑presented and readily available for customers.

- NVQ level in Hospitality or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather.
