Starting salary for this role is £34,434 (pro rata for part‑time colleagues). Early Help Support Worker – Reunification Team 18.5 hrs per week Permanent Contract.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Reunification Team in the Early Help and Targeted Intervention Service. The role involves working with vulnerable children, young people, their parents and carers, in partnership with Social Care colleagues, to support children’s safe, stable and sustainable returns home.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is passionate about the role that reunification can play in supporting a child to return home safely.
  • Can identify creative and collaborative solutions to support plans for a safe return home.
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with colleagues and partners across children’s services to develop robust gradual reunification plans.
  • Has significant experience of working with a whole‑family approach.
  • Is professionally curious and able to engage in respectful professional challenge, keeping the child’s best interests at heart.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in children, young people and family work and have extensive experience in targeted, needs‑led, outcome‑driven intervention work.
