Location: Role can be based from any of our Manchester, Leeds or Reading offices (Remote working available)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Focus of the role: This is a security focused role playing a key part in ensuring our clients operate securely. You will be responsible for delivering our security focused managed services relating to strategic technologies like Microsoft Intune, Defender and Entra ID as well as other security related services and solutions.

Responsibilities: Core responsibilities will be delivering our flagship BCN Protect 365 service as well as our Intune Managed Service – both of these services have Microsoft Intune at their core – ensuring our clients are operating securely and enabling customers to achieve Cyber Essentials certification should they wish via standardised controls. The role will also require you to be involved in other security related managed services, including our Vulnerability Management and Remediation service using Qualys, our Security Awareness Service using KnowBe4 plus delivery of Cyber Essentials.

Person, Skills & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in configuring Microsoft 365 tenants, to include Intune, Defender and Entra ID.
  • Experience in deploying applications at scale via Intune including app packaging and scripting.
  • Security focused with attention to detail and ability to challenge security posture is essential.
  • Good understanding of Cyber Essentials controls and the NCSC requirements for IT infrastructure.
  • Desire to gain Cyber Essentials Assessor qualification.
  • Understanding of vulnerability assessments and risk using CVSS advantageous.
  • Good technical understanding of network environments, endpoints & servers.
  • Previous experience of using KnowBe4, Inforcer, Qualys, Datto RMM and IT Glue advantageous (however training will be provided).
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proven track record in business-to-business communication.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with the team.
