Focus of the role
As a Share Point Developer at BCN, your primary role is to design, develop, and maintain Share Point-based solutions that support clients in achieving their business objectives.
You will be responsible for analysing user requirements, creating custom applications, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical support, and deliver innovative solutions is essential.
Additionally, you will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, always prioritising client satisfaction and aligning with BCN’s values of building strong relationships, customer success, and passion for technology.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Microsoft 365 based solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring robust secure architecture and seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and analyse business needs, translating them into effective technical specifications and project deliverables.
- Create and customise Share Point components such as web parts, pages, lists, libraries, and forms to enhance business processes and productivity.
- Design, plan, and execute Share Point migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to client operations.
- Maintain and support existing Share Point environments, troubleshooting issues, applying updates, and optimising performance as needed.
- Document solution designs, configurations, and customisations, providing technical guidance and training to end-users and colleagues.
- Champion best practices in Share Point development, security, and governance, aligning with BCN’s values of building strong relationships, customer success, and passion for technology.
- Work collaboratively within project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and exceptional client satisfaction.
Person, Skills & Experience
To excel as a Share Point developer at BCN, candidates must demonstrate hands‑on experience in designing and delivering tailored Share Point solutions, working closely with small, medium and enterprise size clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
A proven track record in customising Share Point, developing integrations between M365 technologies, and maintaining secure, high-performing environments is essential.
Strong documentation skills and a commitment to best practices in governance and security underpin success in this role.
