Focus of the role: As a Hybrid Engineer within our Cloud Hybrid Team, you will be instrumental in leveraging technologies to advance on-premise infrastructure but also bridge the gap between on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring a cohesive and efficient working experience for our clients. Your primary focus will be on implementing, upgrading and supporting hybrid solutions using a number of technologies and related tools that empower clients to collaborate seamlessly and ensure a reliable and modern IT infrastructure.

- Strong Microsoft knowledge, from Active Directory to Windows servers and user devices.
- Proficient in cloud and on-premises integration, with a deep understanding of network and infrastructure concepts relevant to hybrid setups, and on premise.

- Firewalls – Fortinet, SonicWall, Draytek, Watchguard.
- SAN architecture and installation – Nimble, Dell, HP.
- NAS implementation.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization including Hyper V and VMware.
- Backups including Veeam install, upgrade and configuration.
- Experience in DR and testing.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of efficiently identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a managed service provider (MSP) or IT service environment.
- Must be willing and able to travel as part of the role with full driving license.
