We’re looking for a Buy to Let Senior Officer to join our Complex Cases & Watchlist Team, working across multiple loan portfolios for a variety of clients. This is a key role where your judgement, experience and attention to detail will really make an impact.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of complex arrears, breach and Watchlist cases, in line with SLAs, procedures and current legislation
- Taking full ownership of your cases from investigation through to resolution
- Clearly explaining loan terms, conditions and events of default to borrowers
- Working closely with third-party providers (including solicitors and receivers) to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Presenting high-level Watchlist updates directly to clients
- Identifying and explaining risk for the benefit of clients and stakeholders
- Acting as a subject matter expert, supporting colleagues and sharing best practice
- Reviewing breaches, preparing referrals and obtaining approvals at the appropriate mandate level
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies
- Ensuring records, reporting and quality standards are always met
