BCMGlobal Mortgage Services are seeking an Arrears Officer to join our Special Servicing Team. As part of your role, you will be responsible for managing various loan portfolios on behalf of our valued clients, undertaking a range of post-completion special servicing activities in line with service level agreements, internal procedures, and current legislation.
Our clients include banks, specialist lenders, and private equity funds. As a Customer Service Officer, you will be expected to consistently provide an excellent level of service, ensuring that we treat customers fairly and work towards delivering the best possible outcomes.
Who Are We Looking For?
Essential:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Ability to organise your workload efficiently to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail, ensuring information is recorded accurately, factually, and professionally.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, being cooperative, supportive, and reliable with a proactive can-do attitude.
- An empathetic manner with the ability to confidently handle difficult conversations while being sensitive and appropriate.
Desirable:
- Experience in the mortgage/lending industry.
- Basic knowledge of buy-to-let mortgages and specialist finance in the UK.
- Understanding of the applicable regulations governing the financial services industry.
- Experience of supporting Vulnerable Customers.
- Industry-recognised qualification.
