We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Enterprise Applications to lead our group-wide application strategy and governance. Reporting to the Group ICT Director, you’ll play a critical role in aligning technology with business objectives, driving integration post-M&A, and ensuring the efficiency, stability, and long-term sustainability of our enterprise application landscape.
Working for BCM Global, part of LC Financial Holdings, we are a dynamic and diverse international financial services group, made up of five specialist business verticals: credit management, fund management, software development, and legal services. Operating in 10 European countries and employing over 1,750 people, we are proud to be Europe’s leading SME and leasing credit servicer.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the enterprise application service catalogue
- Identify and mitigate risks related to shadow IT
- Lead decommissioning efforts for legacy systems
- Develop and execute exit and contingency strategies for key applications
- Expand and formalise vendor and contract governance, including regulatory compliance and cost control
- Drive adoption of fit-for-purpose release methodologies (e.g. S-SDLC)
- Oversee ICT governance reporting and application-related KPIs
- Improve monitoring capabilities using existing tools
- Represent Group interests in product development with third parties
- Capture internal client needs and manage small-scale implementations and integrations
Desirable Experience
- At least 5 years in a senior enterprise IT applications role, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
- Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships
- Deep understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, SaaS, integration practices, and regulatory frameworks
- Technical familiarity with CRM systems, ITSM, APIs, databases, and performance monitoring
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s or certifications like ITIL, TOGAF, or PMP are a plus)
