It all starts with our people, which is why we’re looking for an organized and enthusiastic Recruitment Coordinator to join our dynamic Emerging Talent team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in attracting and hiring the brightest future lawyers for our firm. You’ll help ensure our recruitment processes run seamlessly, making a real impact on shaping the next generation of legal talent.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Attraction: Responsibility for the logistics of our Emerging Talent events including but not limited to liaising with attendees and speakers, booking and setting up rooms, booking catering, providing merchandise and attending as a representative from Emerging Talent. Undertaking administrative tasks for all BCLP attraction events. Supporting the management of social media content alongside our social media team. Assisting with all tasks related to the Applicant Tracking System (Candid) for Emerging Talent roles e.g. posting roles, screening candidates, processing assessment tasks etc.
- Selection: Arranging interviews for our Emerging Talent roles. Co-ordinating both in person and virtual assessment days. Responsibilities include: liaising with candidates, booking rooms, collating assessment centre materials, coordinating with assessors and trainees on the day. Organising vacation schemes and other relevant graduate programmes. Responsibilities include: arranging and facilitating sessions, booking rooms, organising catering, assisting with student department allocation and sourcing Trainee buddies and Associate supervisors, onboarding students, booking final stage interviews.
- Recruitment: Assisting with candidate communications end to end, including providing outcomes of interviews and assessments. Producing offer paperwork for candidates. Responsible for the collation of signed offer documentation and relevant onboarding documentation, as required. Contacting candidates to provide feedback when they have been unsuccessful in securing a position. Processing expenses from candidates, invoices from external providers, updating the budget tracker and communicating with the Finance department where appropriate. Maintaining filing systems, e.g. recruitment and personnel files.
Skills and experience required
- Previous HR / Graduate Recruitment experience and / or knowledge.
- Experience of working in a professional services environment is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to deal with pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Administration experience within an office environment.
- Good knowledge and interest in social media channels.
