About the Team
The Office of General Counsel (OGC) plays a central role in advising the firm on legal and regulatory risk across our global business. Working closely with the Board, Leadership Team and key business stakeholders, the OGC ensures alignment with business objectives while maintaining robust governance and compliance frameworks. The team spans the UK and US and operates across four core areas:
- Business Acceptance
- Professional Indemnity (claims & complaints)
- Responsible Business
This role supports the global OGC function and contributes to a collaborative, open and knowledge‑sharing environment.
Position Overview
As a key member of the OGC team, you will support the coordination and delivery of core operational and administrative activities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the firm to ensure smooth team operations and high‑quality service delivery. You’ll be responsible for:
- General Coordination & Administration
- Manage diaries, meetings, travel and expenses for senior team members
- Coordinate team schedules, inbox rota and absence tracking
- Organise internal communications, reports and newsletters
- Support event planning and liaise with external suppliers
- Training & Compliance Support
- Coordinate annual compliance training programmes and reporting
- Manage induction training logistics and attendance tracking
- Maintain training records, schedules and spend tracking
- Support presentation preparation
- Operational Support
- Maintain and update policies, guidance and internal resources
- Coordinate file transfers and maintain trackers
- Monitor key dates (e.g. renewals, registrations)
- Provide ad‑hoc support across the OGC and Responsible Business teams
Skills and Experience required
Experience & Technical Skills
- Educated to A-level (or equivalent), including NVQ or BTEC Level 3+
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a professional services environment
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Interest in developing technical skills, including exposure to AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Legora)
