An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded claimant team in the West Midlands. Working alongside experienced senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters, the successful candidate will also manage their own caseload and play an important role in supporting clients through sensitive and challenging circumstances.

The team handles a broad range of complex medical negligence matters, including catastrophic brain injuries, delayed cancer diagnoses, fatal claims, avoidable deaths, orthopaedic injuries, and other serious life-impacting cases.

This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to further develop their expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment that combines technical excellence with genuine client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including litigated files
  • Assist senior lawyers on high-value and complex medical negligence claims
  • Provide clear, compassionate, and commercially sound legal advice to clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients while supporting them through sensitive matters

About You
  • 2‐5 years PQE with strong claimant clinical negligence experience
  • Experience independently managing your own caseload, including litigated matters
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide practical legal advice
  • Experience supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value claims
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client‐care skills
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
