Real Estate Lawyer | International Law Firm | City of LondonA highly regarded City real estate team is seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join its London practice. This is a standout opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in housebuilding, strategic land and real estate development to take the next step in their career within a marketâleading, specialist real estate platform.
This role offers exposure to a broad and highâquality pipeline of work spanning complex development projects, strategic land transactions, landlord and tenant matters, commercial leasing, investment and portfolio transactions, and largeâscale disposals and acquisitions. You will work closely with investors, developers, housebuilders, landowners and occupiers across the full property lifecycle from site assembly and planning through to development, asset management and exit strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Advising clients on a wide range of real estate development and commercial property transactions
Managing residential development, regeneration and strategic land acquisitions and disposals
Handling landlord and tenant matters, commercial leases, investment and portfolio transactions
Drafting and negotiating complex property documentation with minimal supervision
Delivering clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
Running transactions efficiently, costâeffectively and to a high professional standard
Undertaking and managing complex title due diligence
Building and developing strong client relationships
Supporting business development and client marketing initiatives
Contributing to knowledge development and bestâpractice initiatives within the team
Working collaboratively across teams and practice areas
Candidate Profile
A qualified solicitor c.5+ PQE, although strong candidates below this level will be considered
Experienced in real estate development, housebuilding and strategic land work
Confident running matters autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
Commercially minded, practical and solutionsâfocused
Technically strong with proven experience in complex property transactions
An excellent communicator with strong clientâhandling skills
Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple matters simultaneously
Motivated to build a longâterm career within a leading real estate development practice
