An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team in London. This role offers the chance to work alongside recognised leaders in the property litigation market, advising on high-value, complex and often high-profile real estate disputes for an impressive client base that includes institutional landlords, investors, developers, retailers, infrastructure businesses and financial institutions.
You will join a collaborative and growing team with an established reputation for handling both complex strategic disputes and the full spectrum of traditional landlord and tenant litigation matters. The team is particularly recognised for its expertise in emerging and high-growth areas including Building Safety Act disputes, development-related litigation, rights of light matters and issues affecting the living sector. Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will gain exposure to a broad range of contentious real estate matters while receiving structured support and mentoring to accelerate your professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Advising on a broad range of commercial property and real estate disputes.
- Managing landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals (contested and uncontested), dilapidations claims, break notices, forfeiture actions, possession proceedings, and property management disputes.
- Assisting on complex, high-value litigation matters for major real estate clients.
- Supporting clients on disputes relating to building safety, development projects and rights of light.
- Working on matters involving developers, landlords, tenants, investors, banks and professional advisers.
- Conducting legal research and preparing client advice.
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings and litigation documents.
- Supporting case strategy and dispute resolution processes.
- Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.
- Contributing to business development and client engagement initiatives.
- Applications are welcomed from candidates who are newly qualified or due to qualify as a solicitor in 2026 and who have a genuine interest in developing a career in property litigation.
- Experience gained through a Real Estate Disputes or Property Litigation seat during training.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and sound commercial judgement.
