An opportunity has arisen for a junior Real Estate Associate to join the London office of a leading City‑led, international law firm with a top‑tier reputation in the real estate sector. Real estate sits at the heart of the firm's strategy, with a substantial proportion of its lawyers advising across investment, development, finance, and asset management. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial property work, acting for domestic and overseas investors, developers, occupiers, lenders and public sector bodies. The team advises on all major asset classes and regularly supports complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters. As part of a national real estate team, you will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues across other UK offices and collaborate with specialists in sectors such as living, build‑to‑rent, student accommodation and senior living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on investment property acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence
  • Landlord‑side asset management
  • Acting for occupiers on new leases and ongoing lease management
  • Supporting developers on site assembly, acquisitions and development projects
  • Advising borrowers and lenders, including Certificates of Title and property‑related conditions precedent
  • Managing your own matters with appropriate supervision
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives
  • Ensuring matters are managed in line with regulatory and quality standards
  • Participating in training and professional development initiatives

This role will suit a junior real estate lawyer between NQ and 3 PQE who is keen to develop technically while taking on increasing responsibility. You are likely to demonstrate:

  • The ability to manage transactions and priorities effectively
  • A commercial, client‑focused mindset
