The firm / team: one of the most specialised Employment departments in the UK, strengthening their Employment offering with the addition of an Associate. Leading boutique for Employment law in the UK, ranked in the top tiers of the Legal 500 for Employment (Employer/Respondent) law. Join a large and specialised team, working across jurisdictions and areas of employment law, covering respondent work with some transactional components. Hardworking firm offering a market-leading salary with a reasonable chargeable hours contribution of 1200, and a grown-up approach to hybrid working.

Role

As an Employment Associate within the team, undertake a broad range of work with a supportive collegiate department. The firm is looking for someone capable of developing into a trusted advisor to their biggest clients. Work will include advising predominantly on advisory and contentious matters, such as contracts, TUPE, and redundancies, with some contentious work, including tribunals, workplace investigations, and high court litigation, with minimal transactional work.

About you

Applications are sought from experienced Associates from 1.5 PQE upwards, to a maximum of 4 years' post qualification experience, gained in England & Wales or a similar, leading common law jurisdiction. You will possess strong academics, and a confident understanding of employment law, ideally from a Top 30/Legal 500 background. Candidates should have strong organisation skills and a keen interest in joining one of the UK's leading Employment law firms.
