A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leading corporate team at this top tier global practice, in London. The firm, which ranks as one of the leading M&A practices in the world, is a truly expert law firm, with a top‑ranked Legal 500 Infrastructure M&A team, across M&A, and Private Equity. The London corporate team undertakes high‑value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across a range of sectors, focused mainly around transport, energy, digital infrastructure, and social infrastructure. The salary for the role starts at £200k, in addition to a discretionary bonus scheme.
Responsibilities
- Advising leading private equity investors on the full spectrum of financial sponsor‑related transactions, including private M&A, equity investments, consortium arrangements, and co‑investments.
- Advising private equity sponsors, banks, and direct lenders on leveraged and general acquisition finance transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents to affect public and private M&A transactions, domestic and cross‑border (in‑bound and out‑bound) M&A.
- Working for some of the leading infrastructure funds in the London market.
- Handling complex and multi‑jurisdictional M&A, as well as Private Equity‑backed M&A, as well as complex financing structures.
Qualifications
- A strong academic background.
- Training and/or post‑qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable ranked law firm.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
