We are recruiting for a leading national firm based in the heart of Birmingham looking for someone to head their thriving residential conveyancing team. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with strong management abilities to lead this thriving national team in delivering exceptional client service and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have the capability to grow and guide the teams while maintaining high standards of quality. The role requires technical expertise in conveyancing, with training and development provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams handling plot sales, homeownership, and right-to-buy transactions.
  • Set up and manage schemes for sale (shared ownership and outright sale).
  • Oversee plot sales, right-to-buy, and right-to-acquire sales.
  • Supervise resales, staircasing, lease extensions (both statutory and voluntary), and deeds of variation for shared ownership and other leases.
  • Handle requisitions from prior sales, collective enfranchisement, and related tasks.
  • Manage and supervise teams to ensure excellent client service and the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor financial performance and KPIs to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with HR and Resourcing to manage staffing needs and recruitment.
  • Effectively onboard and train new team members.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and processes as needed.
  • Ensure client service standards are consistently upheld, and conduct client reviews.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading and managing a successful conveyancing team, ideally in a high-volume environment.
