This long standing and very well established firm are looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join their thriving team.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload from instruction to completion including

  • Freeholds
  • Leaseholds
  • shared ownership
  • new build
  • remortgages
  • transfers of equity
  • auctions
  • unregistered land
  • transfers of part
  • enfranchisement matters
  • Ensure continued compliance with the SRA, CQS and internal compliance procedures.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation.
  • Provide a responsive service to clients giving clear and consistent legal advice, via email, phone and in person.
  • Contribute to marketing/business development for the department/firm.
  • Ensure that the billing of files is carried out efficiently and at the earliest opportunity.
  • Meet annual billing and performance targets (as agreed with you).
  • Comply with all aspects of firmwide policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years' PQE as Conveyancing Solicitor
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Able to independently manage a busy caseload and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent client care skills and an empathetic approach to understanding client needs.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strategic, forward thinking and pro-active.
  • Business acumen.
  • Team player.
  • Accountable.
