We're partnering with a growing FMCG business looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join its lean and collaborative legal team. The Opportunity
- Advise on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, including:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, including procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, sales and marketing contracts
- Supporting commercial negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting with corporate projects, governance matters and group structural changes across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting M&A activity, due diligence exercises and strategic business projects
- Advising on intellectual property matters, including brand protection and trade mark portfolio management
- Contributing to a variety of wider legal and business initiatives as the company continues its international growth journey
About You
- This role would suit a junior commercial lawyer with some PQE
- You will likely have trained in private practice and looking to make your first in-house move
- Have had hands-on exposure to drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Have a desire to learn, take ownership, and get stuck into varied work
