A top-ranked Intellectual Property practice is seeking an Associate to join its growing London team. Following a partner addition earlier this year, the team is continuing to expand its IP, technology and regulatory offering.
This role offers exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious soft IP, technology and regulatory matters.
The team advises on a wide range of IP, technology and regulatory matters, with particular strengths in trademarks, brand protection, commercial IP and technology disputes. Combining specialist IP expertise with broader regulatory and commercial capabilities, the practice offers associates the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines while building strong client relationships from an early stage.
You will join a busy, varied practice and can expect to be involved in:
- Advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious soft IP matters, with a particular focus on trademarks
- Advising on brand protection, ownership, licensing and the use of third-party intellectual property
- Supporting clients on consumer rights and wider regulatory matters
- Advising on technology disputes arising from commercial technology agreements
- Working closely with clients across the retail, sport and technology sectors
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas on complex matters
- Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship management
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years' PQE and experience across IP, technology or regulatory matters
- Experienced in both contentious and non-contentious soft IP work, particularly trademarks
- A strong communicator with excellent drafting and analytical skills
- Comfortable taking ownership of matters and managing client relationships
- Collaborative, proactive and interested in contributing to a growing practice
