We're working with a leading FTSE-listed business seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer to join its established in-house legal team.
This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in supporting an ambitious UK-wide build programme and work closely with senior commercial and technical stakeholders.
The Role
This is a purely non-contentious construction role, giving you the opportunity to provide strategic legal support across the full lifecycle of major construction projects.
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of construction documentation, including bespoke amendments, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and related agreements.
- Work closely with commercial and technical teams to support the successful delivery of major build projects.
- Take ownership of improving contract management processes and driving greater efficiency across legal and operational functions.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external panel law firms.
- Provide training and practical guidance to the wider business on construction law, contracts and risk.
About You
You'll be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with strong post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
You may have trained and qualified in private practice, worked in-house, or built your career across both environments.
- Strong knowledge and experience of construction contracts.
- The confidence to operate autonomously and take ownership of matters.
- A pragmatic, commercially focused approach to legal advice.
- The ability to build effective relationships with commercial and technical stakeholders.
