Due to continued growth, the team is looking for a talented Senior Associate to play a key role in advising clients and mentoring junior colleagues. THE ROLE
As a Real Estate Senior Associate, you will manage a varied and high-quality caseload, including:
- Investment transactions: advising on the acquisition, disposal, and asset management of commercial properties, including office, retail, and mixed-use developments.
- Landlord and tenant matters: negotiating commercial leases, acting for both landlords and corporate occupiers.
- Development projects: supporting clients on site acquisitions, development agreements, and planning matters.
- Property finance: advising borrowers and lenders on secured lending transactions.
- Strategic advice: providing commercial and practical guidance to clients on real estate matters, often working alongside colleagues in planning, construction, corporate, and private client teams.
- Mentoring and supervision: supporting junior lawyers in their development and contributing to the overall success of the team.
THE CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Real Estate law gained from a reputable firm.
- A strong track record in handling complex real estate transactions with minimal supervision.
- Excellent technical legal knowledge and a commercial mindset.
- Experience advising high-value clients, including institutional investors, developers, and lenders.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong leadership skills and the willingness to support junior colleagues.
