A leading UK legal and professional services firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Dispute Resolution Senior Associate to join its specialist property litigation team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE and a background in property litigation or real estate dispute resolution to take on a varied and commercially focused caseload, while working alongside highly experienced practitioners on complex contentious property matters.
The Opportunity
You will join an established Real Estate Dispute Resolution team advising a diverse client base that includes developers, investors, landlords, tenants and public sector organisations.
The team is recognised for its commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to property disputes.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters, develop strong client relationships and work closely with senior lawyers on sophisticated litigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) work.

Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, dilapidations and forfeiture.
- Handling contentious property development matters, including rights of light, restrictive covenants and boundary disputes.
- Managing possession claims and trespass actions.
- Supporting property insolvency and enforcement matters.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and instructions to counsel.
- Representing clients at court hearings, mediations and client meetings.
- Managing your own caseload effectively, with appropriate supervision and support.
- Supporting senior colleagues on complex property litigation and ADR matters.
- Contributing to team training, knowledge sharing and the development of junior lawyers.
- Taking an active role in marketing and business development initiatives.
- Ideal qualifications
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
- 5+ years' PQE, with relevant experience in property litigation or real estate dispute resolution preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of real estate law and dispute resolution.
- Experience of County Court and First-tier Tribunal proceedings.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within real estate dispute resolution.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge.
