BCL Legal are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded national law firm known for its collaborative culture, strong private client offering, and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
This role is ideal for a solicitor who enjoys working with high net worth individuals who have a keen interest to specialise in agriculture work and looking to further their career within a supportive, forward-thinking team. The position is based in the firm\’s Birmingham office, with hybrid working (2-3 days in-office) to support team collaboration and client engagement.
The Role
As part of a dynamic and growing Private Client team, you will:
- Handle a varied and high-quality caseload including wills, trusts, estate administration, and tax planning
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including with professional intermediaries
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the team\’s service offering
- Engage in business development and marketing initiatives
- Support with preparation of trust and estate accounts, and tax returns where possible
- Ensure compliance through accurate file and time management using case management systems
You\’ll be given the freedom to work independently while benefiting from a culture that encourages collaboration, learning, and progression.
The Candidate
This opportunity would suit a technically skilled and client-focused solicitor who is passionate about delivering high standards of personal legal service. You will:
- Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Have experience in a broad range of private client work, ideally including HNW matters
- Be confident handling your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
- Be well-organised with strong attention to detail
- Possess good numeracy skills and a working knowledge of Excel
- Be comfortable liaising with financial advisers, accountants, and other referrers
- Training and support will be offered to help you succeed and thrive in the role.
