Role - Employment Counsel / In-house Employment Solicitor
The role of Employment Counsel is varied and involved, and will include day-to-day employment law advice, right to work and immigration matters, Employment Rights Act and Employment Tribunal challenges, plus wider matters to include modern slavery, GDPR, TUPE etc. The aim of the role is to support HR, operational and commercial teams, acting as a legal business partner to solve problems, mitigate risk, and to facilitate business decisions.
About you
Our client is seeking an employment solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE experience, ideally gained in a notable regional, national or international law firm, or an equivalent in-house team. You must have dealt with respondent matters for companies, and you will ideally have broad employment law experience covering both non-contentious and contentious matters.

Working arrangements
Our client operates a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the Greater Manchester office and 2 days from home.
