A premium automotive and financial services business is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join its established in-house legal team. This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of commercial matters, supporting a well-known brand in a highly regulated environment while gaining exposure to financial services and consumer finance.
The team is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including those with commercial contracts experience looking to develop financial services expertise, or those with financial services experience keen to broaden their commercial skillset.
The role
- You'll advise on a wide variety of commercial and operational matters across the business, working closely with stakeholders at all levels.
- The work is diverse and will include:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreements
- Supporting procurement activities and supplier relationships
- Advising on outsourcing arrangements and strategic business projects
- Supporting technology, software and IT-related contracts
- Working alongside business stakeholders to provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice
- Developing an understanding of the financial services and consumer finance environment
This is a varied role with exposure to high-profile projects and evolving business initiatives, offering the opportunity to take ownership of matters while working as part of an experienced and supportive team.
About you
- Qualified solicitor, CILEX lawyer or equivalent experience
- Commercial contracts experience gained in private practice or in-house
