We are working on an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded full-service law firm in Manchester.

About the Role

The firm has an excellent reputation across the North West and has significantly strengthened its Manchester office with a series of senior hires from leading national and international firms. The office is led by an experienced leadership team, with specialist partners across real estate, employment, and corporate, and is continuing to grow its presence in the region. The real estate team is ranked highly in the Legal 500 across the North West and is well known for advising on the full spectrum of commercial property matters. The team acts for a high-quality client base including investors, lenders, developers, entrepreneurs, and estate owners, providing proactive and commercially focused advice. The successful candidate will join a busy and expanding team with exposure to a varied and high-quality caseload, alongside the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the Manchester office.

What You'll Do

  • Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters including landlord and tenant work, acquisitions and disposals, and development transactions.
  • Act for a diverse client base including investors, lenders, developers, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Work on both commercial and residential development matters and high-value transactional work.
  • Support on complex, high-quality matters across regional and national clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Work closely with senior lawyers and partners within a growing Manchester team.
  • Contribute to business development and the continued expansion of the practice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 2-6 PQE commercial property solicitor.
  • Strong experience across a broad range of commercial real estate matters.
  • Confident handling acquisitions, disposals, and landlord & tenant work.
  • Excellent technical ability with strong commercial awareness.
  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and keen to contribute to a growing team.
